Technical Account Manager, National Security, National Security - ES US-ADCJob ID: | Amazon Web Services, Inc.Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and help customers of all industries and sizes gain the best value and service from AWS?At AWS Enterprise Support we're looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support our customers' creative and transformative spirit of innovation across all technologies, including Compute, Storage, Database, Machine Learning, AI, Big Data, Security, Networking, Serverless and more.This is not a sales role, but rather an opportunity to be the strategic technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to National Security customers.As a TAM, you will help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, CodePipeline, IoT, and many more.Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support and risk management.You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.This position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed.The TAM is the centerpiece of value to our National Security customers.If you wish to be at the forefront of innovation, come join usThis position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)2+ years of technical engineering experienceExperience in Information Technology operationsCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutionsInternal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical leadProfessional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s)Development in a distributed systems environmentExperience in a 24x7 operational services or support environmentExperience with AWS services and/or other cloud offeringsExperience applying technical or operational expertise to identify, balance trade-offs, and solve difficult challengesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company.Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.This position will remain posted until filled.Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.#J-*****-Ljbffr
