Overview As a Sr V&VV Engineer here at Honeywell you will play a critical role mainly in performing System Validation testing for Fire alarm products and also develop Test Automation framework and test scripts.You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Trieste IT location.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include working with our Engineering Offering and Architects to understand product functionality and accordingly develop manual / automation test cases and execute them.Understand end user scenarios and articulate test cases based on the knowledge with defect tracking and analysisUnderstand / contribute to Acceptance Criteria and test case development for stories and verify the product / system against the sameStrong adherence to quality criteria and reporting of test results to stakeholdersMaintenance of existing automation test scripts.Developing supporting tools that help testing.Ensure regular execution of automated tests through daily or weekly test runs as applicable.Research and stay current on software test automation methodologies and best practices.Constantly evaluate test automation strategy and approach for Next Gen technologies like SaaS / Cloud Mobile Wireless Database / SQL and Virtualization.Coordinate planning and execution of test activities along with team members to ensure completion of work as expected and timely releases.QualificationsBachelor or Master of Engineering in Computer Science ElectronicsMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in Testing and Test Automation.Hands-on experience in using automation tools (Selenium Appium Test Complete)We ValueUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesExposure to White Box testing performance and load testingStrong knowledge in creating automation tests frameworksCoding experience in Java / C#Scripting languages PythonExperience in using JiraExperience in Mobile applications (Android / iOS) Web services and API testingWorking experience with SQL / Oracle databases & XML files operationsKnowledge on Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP)About HoneywellHoneywell International Inc.
