Application Technical Leader DXC Technology We offer a dynamic role as an Application Technical Leader within our Application Service DXC Team, based in Milan with remote work possibilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced applications (upgrades or conversions).Analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems using appropriate solutions/tools.Collaborate with Client-facing colleagues (Business Analysts and Project Managers) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.Lead a small team, provide mentoring and guidance to less senior developers while working with them on solution design.Education and SkillsBachelor's or Master's degree (technical fields such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred).Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, cloud-based applications, and Microservices architecture and patterns.Strong technical experience writing code in Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, design patterns, architecture design, and SQL/NoSQL databases.Familiarity with software development processes such as Agile and Waterfall, and DevOps practices.Ability to work with web-development tools for new applications.Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills.Job InformationSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingLocation: Milan, with remote work possibilitiesAt DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing, productivity, individual work styles, and life circumstances.We're committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.Recruitment fraud is a scheme that offers fictitious job opportunities to job seekers, typically through online services or unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company.These emails may request personal information or payments.DXC never asks for money or payments from applicants, nor does it ask a job seeker to purchase equipment on our behalf.More information on employment scams is available here.#J-*****-Ljbffr
