BI Manager DAINESE•Vicenza, Veneto, Italy Descrizione dell'offerta di lavoroDainese is the global leader in protective equipment and apparel of excellence for motorcycling and dynamic sports.Headquartered in Vicenza, Italy, the company has a presence in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.Dainese owns three prestigious brands – Dainese, AGV and TCX – which are synonymous with innovation and technical excellence.It is present in 96 countries through a consolidated network of wholesale partners, 45 mono-brand shops and a direct e-commerce channel.Dainese is looking for a BI Manager to support our ICT Department.Roles & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & GovernanceDefine BI vision and roadmap aligned with organisational goals.Establish data governance policies, including data quality, security, and compliance.Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritise use cases and ensure business alignment.Architecture & Platform OversightLead design of Microsoft Fabric architecture, including OneLake set-up and data lakehouse strategy.Integrate with existing systems (ERP, CRM, PLM, etc.).Ensure optimal use of Fabric components: Power BI, Data Factory, Synapse and Data Activator, etc.Data Integration & ModellingOversee data ingestion pipelines from various sources (SQL, APIs, cloud apps).Guide creation of semantic models and data marts using Fabric's Lakehouse and Warehouse capabilities.Ensure re-usability and scalability of data models across departments.Team Leadership & EnablementManage BI developers, data engineers, and analysts.Promote self-service BI through training and governance of Power BI usage.Foster a data-driven culture across the organisation.Performance & OptimisationMonitor system performance, query optimisation, and cost management.Implement Fabric capacity planning and workspace management.Ensure data refresh reliability and dashboard responsiveness.Security & ComplianceDefine role-based access controls and workspace permissions.Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO, or industry-specific regulations.Collaborate with IT and security teams to manage data protection.Reporting & Insights DeliveryOversee development of dashboards, KPIs, and reports for various business units.Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.Drive advanced analytics initiatives (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection).Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate with Microsoft and system integrators for support and best practices.Communicate progress and value to executive stakeholders.Manage budget and licensing related to Fabric and Power BI.RequirementsTechnical CompetenciesMicrosoft Fabric ExpertiseDeep understanding of Fabric components: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, Data ActivatorExperience with dataflows, pipelines, semantic modelsExperience with Direct Lake modeData Architecture & ModellingProficiency in dimensional modelling, star/snow-flake architectures, and data lakehouse designStrong grasp of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data lineagePower BI MasteryAdvanced skills in DAX, Power Query, and report/dashboard designExperience with Power BI governance, deployment pipelines, and performance tuningCloud & Security KnowledgeFamiliarity with Azure services, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and role-based access control (RBAC)Understanding of data privacy, compliance frameworks, and security best practicesAnalytical & Strategic CompetenciesBusiness Acumen – translate business needs into data solutions and BI use-cases; understanding KPIs, financial metrics, operational driversData Governance & Quality – experience in setting up data stewardship, metadata management, and quality assurance processesProject & Change Management – skilled in agile methodologies, project planning, stakeholder communication, phased rollouts, pilot programmes, and user adoption strategiesLeadership & Communication CompetenciesTeam Leadership – lead cross-functional teams (BI developers, data engineers, analysts); mentoring, performance management, capacity planningStakeholder Engagement – strong communication skills to align with executives, business units, and IT; evangelise BI strategy and demonstrate value realizationTraining & Enablement – promote self-service BI and data literacy; develop training programmes and documentation for users and developers#J-*****-Ljbffr
