We are currently looking for aPLC ST Application Designerto join ourElectronics R&D Departmentat CAREL HQs in Brugine (Padova).In this role, you will initially focus ondeveloping PLC applications in Structured Text (ST)for electronic expansion valve control, including designing control algorithms, testing, and debugging. Over time, your responsibilities will expand to firmware development.Responsibilities:DevelopPLC applications in Structured Text (ST)for electronic expansion valve control.Design and implementcontrol algorithmsto optimize system performance.Test and debug PLC applicationsto ensure reliability and compliance with system requirements.Collaborate withhardware and firmware engineersto integrate PLC applications with embedded systems.Participate incode reviewsand contribute to software architecture decisions.Document software design, implementation, and testing procedures.In a second phase, transition tofirmware development, focusing on embedded software for industrial control systems.Work closely withR&D and product teamsto enhance control solutions.Proficiency inStructured Text (ST) programmingfor PLC applications.Background inElectronics, Mechatronics, or related fieldsUnderstanding ofcontrol systems, automation,and industrial protocols.Experience with testing, debugging, and optimizing PLC applications.Willingness toexpand into firmware developmentfor embedded systems.Proficiency inEnglish, both written and spoken.Share the value ofCarel Culture Code
