Commis Chef - Monday to Friday Milan Contract: Full Time, PermanentSalary: € 12 per hourHours: 40 per weekA leading coeducational day international school for students 2-18 years.Catering for about 550 students, we offer a core feeding of AMSnack and Lunch with some hospitality at this location.This operation runs Monday to Friday and is a term time only contract operating 43 weeks per year.We are looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Milan.If you are a current chef or want to train and develop to become a chef by joining our chefs academy then please apply today.You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus.You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.Key responsibilities:To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitalityTo produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standardsEnsuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantageExcellent customer service skillsGreat team playerYou will have the following skills:A genuine interest in food & excellent customer serviceAn all-round team playerInnovation and passion for great foodAn organised person with attention to detailKnowledge / competencies:Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferredAbout usThomas Franks is a founder led, fresh food catering business with a focus on excellence and service delivered with individuality, passion and style.We are unique in every approach and our clients, and our people are paramount to our daily success.All applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in Italy to be considered for this role.A clear "Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale" (Criminal Record Certificate) will be required for this role.Any criminal conviction, caution or bind-over must be declared.#J-*****-Ljbffr
