Videndum plc is an international group principally serving customers in the "image capture and content creation" market.Videndum designs, manufactures and distributes premium branded and technically advanced products and solutions for broadcasters, film and video production companies, independent content creators, vloggers/influencers, enterprises, governments and professional musicians.Our people are key to Videndum plc's future, and they are our number one priority.They make the difference not only by what they do, but by how they do it.Job SummaryAs a Process Engineer, the resource will be responsible for managing the development of production processes (manual and/or automated), supporting the introduction of new products (mechanical components) in the most effective and efficient way, while ensuring excellent quality standards.Main Responsibilities and ActivitiesProcess Analysis and Optimization: Implement and optimize mechanical manufacturing processes, particularly flow production processes, by developing appropriate Standard Operating Procedures.Collaborate with the Industrial Department to implement and refine process parameters to improve efficiency and product quality.Cost Analysis: Assess investment requirements and support the design and implementation of machinery, equipment, and production systems in collaboration with the Industrial Department.Problem Solving: Conduct structured root cause analyses of process failures and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, improve quality, and reduce downtime.Collaboration with R&D: Work closely with the Research & Development team to understand technical specifications and product/process requirements.Define and estimate work cycles in alignment with targets shared with R&D.Continuous Improvement: Enhance existing processes to improve customer service, efficiency, and product quality, while ensuring workplace safety and ergonomics.Support the implementation of key Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Visual Management, TPM, SMED).QualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fieldsPrevious experience in similar roles (mechanical manufacturing), preferably in industrial environments with a strong focus on lean manufacturingGood command of spoken and written EnglishProficiency in main IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.) and 2D design software (e.g., AutoCAD)Knowledge (even indirect) of CNC machine programmingStrong coordination and project management skillsTeamwork ability, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skillsMain relationshipsInternal: Production, R&D, Quality, Controlling, Planning, PurchasingExternal: Component suppliers, equipment suppliersPlease note that this job description is not an exhaustive list of the duties that you may be required to perform, and the company reserves the right to make amendments to the job description at any time, which may include adding or removing items from the list of duties outlined above.Videndum MindsetExceptional Product PerformanceCustomer FocusLeading a Fast Changing MarketGlobal CapabilityTransparency, Integrity and RespectEnvironmental ConsciousnessHealth and SafetyAll employees are expected to take care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions in accordance with the Company health and safety policy by using correct tools, processes and Personal protective equipment and not perform any function unless appropriately trained and authorised.Our approach to diversity follows a strict policy of sourcing the best person for the role irrespective of race, gender, age, religion, sexual preference, or disability.Our Code of Conduct sets out an express prohibition on discrimination of any kind.#J-*****-Ljbffr
