We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing the financial planning and analysis processes for GREF, ensuring accurate cost distribution, driving financial transparency across the organization.This role will also support execution of global initiatives and improvements across the greater GREF landscape.This individual will work with global business partners, local finance teams, accounting teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver on these goals.Key Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning, Analysis, and Process OptimizationDevelop, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end financial planning and analysis processes, methodologies, and frameworks for GREFLead the design and execution of financial models that support accurate financial reporting and decision-makingCollaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plansOwn system integrations and data flow related to FP&A processesStay current with industry best practices and integrate innovative approaches into GREF's financial planning and analysis methodologiesFinancial Analysis and ReportingOversee the production of high-quality financial reports and analyses related to GREF operationsDevelop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial processesProvide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-makingLead monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics, analyze variances to forecast, and communicate key drivers to senior managementChart of Accounts Management and Systems OwnershipServe as the subject matter expert for IBM Cognos/TM1, FRAMES, and SpectraLead system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations for these platforms to support GREF's financial processesProvide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of these systems for financial planning and reporting purposesBasic Qualifications7+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience7+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience7+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience7+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experienceBachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experiencePreferred Qualifications6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experienceMBA, or CPAKnowledge of SQL/ETLExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
