Overview Join usand ensure smooth, safe, and efficient cargo and ground operations.Monitor processes, maintain high service quality, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced airport environment.Be at the heart of global aviation logistics, driving performance and safety every day.Tasks What you'll do:Support implementation of local/regional operations plans and worldwide handling strategyMonitor Lufthansa Cargo operational performance, subcontractors, cost/service KPIs and productsDrive process improvements in export/import cargo services and warehouse operationsLiaise with Ground Handling Agent to ensure service standards and resolve handling issuesManage warehouse functions: cargo storage, dangerous goods compliance, FAA/TSA regulations, equipment/ULDsCommunicate with Lufthansa Cargo customers on imports/exports, express, and special cargoMaintain quality standards, documentation, and adherence to Lufthansa Cargo proceduresSupport budget planning, KPI dashboards, and local process enhancementsRequirements The ideal candidate should haveHigh school diploma/GEDUniversity Degree or equivalent higher education diploma is a plus3-6 years' of export and import warehouse operations experienceKnowledge of warehouse and logistics managementStrong computer skillsFluency in Italian and English; German is a plusStrong problem-solving, professionalism, reliability, and independenceCommitted, flexible, and able to excel in dynamic environmentsHighly desirable Direct operations and/or cargo handling experience at FCO airport, including handling special shipments and key customer accountsStrong relationship management with Rome and/or Italy local stakeholders, and experience in budgeting, cost control, KPI monitoring, and working with service providersFamiliarity with cargo systems, cargo KPIs, and CargoIQKnowledge of the cargo industry, including handling and airport facilitiesFamiliarity with Italy's cargo market and FCO airport operations; certifications for special cargo handling are a plusCHM/GOM qualificationPlease submit your CV, cover letter, and relevant certifications with your application.About Lufthansa Cargo AG Lufthansa Cargo Aktiengesellschaft, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is a subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft.Lufthansa Cargo ranks among the world's leading air freight carriers and currently employs about 4,150 people worldwide.Lufthansa Cargo focuses on the airport-to-airport business.The cargo carrier serves around 300 destinations in more than 100 countries with its own fleet of freighters, the belly capacities of passenger aircraft operated by the Lufthansa Group and an extensive road feeder service network.The bulk of the cargo volume is routed through Frankfurt Airport.#J-*****-Ljbffr
