RINA is currently recruiting for a Principal Satellite System Engineer to join its office in ROME within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.MissionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Satellite System Engineer to lead the end-to-end design, integration, and validation of a satellite constellation.The candidate will be responsible for system architecture, mission analysis, interfaces between subsystems, and compliance with ECSS standards.Key AccountabilitiesDefine and validate satellite system architecture and mission requirementsCoordinate subsystem teams (AOCS, Power, Payload, Thermal, Communications)Conduct mission analysis, performance budgets, and interface control documents (ICDs)Ensure compliance with ECSS and space industry standardLead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, EM / FMQ)Support AIT / AIV campaigns and launch preparationEducationBachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Engineering GeneralQualifications15+ years of experience in satellite system engineeringProven track record in LEO missions or Earth Observation platformsStrong knowledge of space standards, reliability, and FDIR principlesExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsCompetenciesADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective wayBUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organizationCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversityMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraintMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsPIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstancesPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role ModelTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureRINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.Our business model covers the full process of project development, from concept to completion.At RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.We provide equal employment opportunities and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected and safe from discrimination or harassment of any kind.We are also compliant to the Italian Law n.*******.#J-*****-Ljbffr
