About UsWe are a leading multinational company specializing in the design and manufacture of electric motors.With a global footprint and a commitment to innovation, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Electric Motor Design Engineer.MissionAt Nidec Global Appliance, the R&D Electric Motors team is responsible for the design, analysis, validation, and implementation of electric motors and components for residential and commercial applications.Our core mission is to develop innovative, reliable, and cost-effective products that meet performance and safety standards, aligned with the company's strategic vision and timelines.Main ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of new electric motor technologies and solutionsCreate analytical and numerical models for motor analysis and designSupport the prototyping process, suppliers certifications and production institutes approvalsPlan, execute, and analyze laboratory tests for performance validation and product certificationAssist in software validation related to motor control and system integrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, mechanics, and product complianceRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field focused on electrical machinesKnowledge of electric motor operation, design principles, and performance metricsExperience with engineering software tools (e.g., Ansys, Motor-CAD, MATLAB/Simulink, Maxwell, or similar)Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Soft skillsProactive mindset with a strong sense of initiativeGood communication skills in both English and Italian (spoken and written)Good attitude to team-workWorkplace: Pordenone (PN)This job advertisement is aimed at both sexes (Legislative Decree no. ********) and complies with Art. 10 of Legislative Decree no. ********.By submitting your application, you declare that you have read and accepted the privacy policy in accordance with EU Regulation ******** (GDPR).
