Overview Sécheron Hasler Group continues the Swiss tradition of over 140 years in railway technology.We are a leading global supplier of electrical and electronic safety components and solutions and traction power systems for the railway industry, and we also provide solutions for renewable energy, DC grid, and other industrial systems.The name Sécheron Hasler Group is worldwide synonymous with Swiss Quality and represents a leading reference for state-of-the-art products supplied to the market.With more than **** employees worldwide, we are wherever our customers are around the globe.We supply products approved in our customers' countries or markets and deliver top-notch supply chain and customer services locally.Secheron Hasler Italia is seeking a Technical Repair Technician to join our dynamic Customer Service Center team in Villafranca di Verona.Responsibilities- Set up electronic systems and devices- Troubleshoot, repair, and refurbish industrial electronic equipment- Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures- Troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and identify failure trends- Test electronic components to board level, using various methods and testing equipment- Repair and/or replace electronic components to board level, including but not limited to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and other printed circuit components- Update software and run tests on existing equipment- Familiarity with and ability to utilize different types of test equipment such as function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and power supplies; isolate problems between the test environment and the units under test- Record and interpret test data to determine pass/fail conditions and determine when further analysis is needed; communicate with Repair Services management to keep them informed of job status- Perform field service visits in a timely manner as required to resolve technical issues experienced by customers- Solder and desolder using through-hole and surface-mount technology- Recognize various electronic components and their functions- Work in a progressive repair process with direct interaction with teammates- Collaborate with other professionals on technical tasks- Maintain inventory- Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties- Attend regular training workshops and report to the Supervisor- Ensure that all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulationsQualifications- ITI/Diploma/Degree or completed coursework in Electronics- 1 year of proven work experience in a similar role- Good working knowledge of English (reading, writing and speaking)- Experience as electronic technician or in a similar role- MS Office- Ability to interpret electronic schematics and product drawings- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Good communication and organizational skills- Autonomy and proactivityWhat we offer- Interesting work experience in an international company- Possibility of travelling- Professional and career growth within the Italian and parent companyIf our offer appeals to you and you meet the above requirements, please apply.We are looking forward to talking to youThis is a direct recruitment; we ask agencies to abstain from submitting unsolicited profiles.Secheron Hasler Group is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and hence welcomes applications from all sections of the community.For more information, please visit our website: / You can also find us on LinkedIn.Apply for this job.#J-*****-Ljbffr
