Overview ID-Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery – Amazon Data Services, Inc. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver high standards for safety, security and scalability at the lowest possible cost. Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network. You should possess technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. You will apply strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving abilities, exercising initiative, judgment, and diplomacy. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills to react quickly as needed. Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41 pounds. Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with after-hours support as needed. Work in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments. Physical activities include bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day. Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely. NOTE: Amazon is not able to provide sponsorship now or in the future for these positions.
