R-****** Health & Safety Advisor About MVH Europe Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) Europe is a family of leading veterinary care providers committed to creating a better world for pets.Our network includes trusted brands such as AniCura and Linnaeus, operating over 500 animal hospitals and clinics across 17 European countries.Together, our teams deliver high-quality, modern veterinary care for companion animals, ensuring peace of mind for pet owners through excellent access and patient safety.AniCura, our largest brand in Europe, provides care to over three million patients each year through 12,500 dedicated professionals.Linnaeus, operating primarily in the UK and Ireland, is home to over 6,000 Associates empowered to deliver exceptional care through a culture of collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous development.At MVH Europe, we prioritize a culture of accountability, inclusion, and wellbeing.We believe our purpose — to make A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS — starts with building a better world for our people.We support our teams through strong governance, comprehensive wellbeing programs, and a shared passion for delivering exceptional outcomes in veterinary care.Role OverviewThe Health & Safety Advisor – Med and CEE OU is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and leading the delivery of social work and wellbeing support across veterinary clinics and hospitals.The role safeguards associate physical and psychological wellbeing through proactive regulatory compliance, health risk management, and mental health crisis response.This dual focus enables a safe, compliant, and caring work environment for clinical and non-clinical associates, in alignment with MVH Europe.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise and support management and teams in the implementation of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.Monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal guidelines.Conduct risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections.Initiate and support Health & Safety training and awareness campaigns.Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation and reporting systems.Act as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.Promote a proactive safety culture within the organization.Context and ScopeAs a Health & Safety Advisor, you provide professional advice and support in the area of working conditions (health and safety) to the organization.You are responsible for promoting a safe and healthy working environment and for complying with relevant legislation and internal standards.You will work closely with managers, prevention officers, and Associates to implement and improve policies and procedures.Supports all levels of Associates—from clinical team members to hospital leaders.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree or professional certification in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.Experience in HSE, occupational health, social work, or employee wellbeing in healthcare environments.Strong knowledge of local/EU safety regulations, risk management, and HSE compliance.Experience in crisis response, trauma-informed practice, and supporting wellbeing in complex environments.Proven ability to design and deliver compliance training and wellbeing campaigns.Familiarity with HSE tools and systems is a plus.Strong understanding of workplace risk assessment and hazard control.Ability to interpret and apply legal standards in a pragmatic manner.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.Capable of delivering training sessions and creating awareness materials.Willingness to travel (3 days per week).#J-*****-Ljbffr
