He/She is responsible of developing technical specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations for the Plant Control System and Safety Instrumented Systems, besides the checks, verification and coordination of the Vendors development activities.The Specialist appointed to a project reports to the Project Leader and is able to execute the assigned tasks with a high degree of autonomy.The Specialists reports to the Head of Department for all the activities not directly related to a project.Key Activities & Responsibilities: To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual requirements, in accordance to the assigned budget and schedule.This also includes verification and commenting of the Vendor drawings developed during the project execution.To assist the Head of Department in guaranteeing the application and the continuous update of the department and Company standards, procedures, and work instructions.To attend to technical training as per department needs including the knowledge and the use of CAE tools, and to exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Group for new Design techniques.To monitor the market "state of the art", by preparing technical and commercial evaluations about new products, technologies, work cycles, applications, etc. including knowledge transferring to other colleagues.To attend, on behalf of the department responsible for the Inspection and in coordination with the Project Leader, to the Factory Acceptance Test of the Control Systems.To attend to the system power on and site acceptance test of Control Systems at plant site.To assist Construction and Commissioning Departments, in accordance to the site requests and project needs.Personal Attributes: first level degree in technical discipline at least 5 years of experience past experiences in autonomously executing tasks on projects past experiences on control systems factory acceptance tests and/or plant erection/commissioning fluent English speaker and writer availability to travel for short and long period in Italy and abroad
