We are Startup Bakery, an Italian startup studio that builds B2B SaaS companies from scratch.We design and develop products that combine a simple and intuitive user experience, data-driven processes, and Artificial Intelligence, following a lean approach and focusing on solutions that generate real value and a positive impact on people and the planet .How We WorkTrust & initiative – take ownership, experiment, and don't be afraid of making mistakes.Work-life balance – results matter, not working hours.Flexibility – work remotely or join us at our Milan HQ whenever collaboration (and fun) is needed.Posizione: We are looking for a Freelance Frontend Software Developer to collaborate on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery.You will be responsible for building modern, high-quality user interfaces, working closely with product, backend, and design teams.In a fast-moving and flexible environment, you will actively contribute to frontend architecture decisions and directly see the impact of your work.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop responsive and high-performance user interfaces.Build and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability.Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.RequisitesDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer / Developer.Strong proficiency in React and Next.js.Plus: knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWS.Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Good written and spoken English.Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.Additional InformationFreelance collaboration.Remote-first, with optional access to our Milan office.Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Startup Bakery by 2x.Get notified about new Frontend Developer jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
