Pharmacy Technician, Amazon Pharmacy

OverviewInnovation is at the core of what we do.We aim to remove barriers that prevent people from taking their medications, helping customers access medications conveniently, with transparent pricing, 24/7 customer service, and home delivery.We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team, supporting kiosk management, pharmacy operations, and in-pharmacy order preparation.This position offers a blend of on-the-road independence and in-pharmacy teamwork.You will drive between the Pharmacy and Kiosk locations, refill inventory, maintain Pharmacy Kiosk Machines in regional areas, and prepare orders in the physical Pharmacy location for customer shipments.Key Responsibilities- Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations using a company-provided vehicle.- Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication and supplies, clean the machines, and collect discarded inventory for return.- Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.- Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.- Collaborate with Leadership to ensure correct medications are placed in orders.- Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.- Fill exception trays with appropriate medication and transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to quality control.- Count and label prescription vials and pack completed orders for dispensing and delivery.- Pack and ship orders, printing and affixing labels as needed; sort and triage boxes for shipping.- Support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.- Keep equipment and work areas clean and maintained.- Work a flexible schedule; shifts may start or end outside normal site hours.Physical Requirements- Shift length can be up to 12 hours; standard full-time shifts are around 10 hours (overtime, flex, and part-time shifts may vary).- Driving for long periods (8+ hours).- Standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching.- Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs.- Manual dexterity of hands and wrists.Basic Qualifications- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License within 30 days if required by state board).- Active and unrestricted in-state Driver's License with a clean driving record that passes Amazon's motor vehicle checks (rechecked annually).- High school diploma or equivalent.- 6+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor, and to read and understand English labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.Preferred Qualifications- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member with strong organization and attention to detail.- Ability to recognize and identify patient medications.- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.- Commitment to diversity and an inclusive workplace.Equality and Benefits: Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.We comply with applicable laws and ordinances (e.g., Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance).Our compensation includes base pay, potential shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses where applicable.For more information on benefits, visit .The starting pay for this position is listed below, with base pay plus shift differential where applicable.Final pay is based on shift selection, location, and applicable factors.This position will remain posted until filled.Applicants should apply via our internal or external career site.USA, CA, Richmond - ************* USD hourlyJob detailsPosted: October 17, **** (Updated 2 months ago)Posted: July 17, **** (Updated 7 months ago)Location: ES, Community of Madrid, MadridPosted: October 28, **** (Updated 3 months ago)Posted: November 14, **** (Updated 3 months ago)Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation during the application process, please visit for more information.#J-*****-Ljbffr
