This is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment with a team that values innovation, technical excellence, and a strong commitment to sustainable urban development.Main DutiesUndertake transport model development and application using various software packages which enables the simulation and analysis of the urban and inter-urban transport network / system and its interactions with economic, social, environmental, and land-use factors;Implement territorial multimodal macrosimulation models, as well as both vehicular and pedestrian microsimulations and static road network assessment tools;Develop transport planning research projects with specific focus on transport modelling, traffic assessment, ITS, freight and sustainability issues;Extract data from transport models, analyse and produce technical reports;Support the liaison with Clients and coordinate technical details with other project consultants. Job position educationUniversity Degree in Transport Engineering or equivalent.Job position experience2-4 years of professional experience in Transport Modelling and Transport Planning.Job position skillsEssential qualifications and experience:Proven ability to support the development, calibration and validation of transport models;Experience in technical report production.Excellent communication skills and interface with clients.
