Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC companyDaikin Applied is seeking aRegional Equipment Sales Managerfor the Mid-Atlantic Region This role is critical to our success understanding Daikin's strategic product direction and obtain necessary product knowledge on the key products in order to provide training on new and existing products, conduct joint customer sales calls, represent the company at industry functions and answer sales related technical questions on the products.This individual will work closely with Daikin's equipment sales representatives in the region to increase their sales effectiveness to grow share of the market in each of the company's product categories.Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavorLocation: Remote role based out of the Mid-Atlantic and surrounding area with occasional travelWhat you will do:Provide Sales leadership to manufactures' Sales RepresentativesProvide feedback to Regional General Manager relative to market sales trends and sales representative's product needsCoordinate all meetings with sales representatives and related contacts critical to the sale of products (Engineering firms, Contractors, Daikin Applied Service, etc.)Provide sales forecast for region of all productsMeet and exceed prescribed sales targets for the assigned regionProvide training as needed in support of product salesInteract and seek assistance from Product Sales Managers, National Accounts Managers, Solutions Sales Managers and Regional Operations ManagerEvaluate proficiency of Manufactures' representatives relative to maintaining product line sales balanceInterface with various support groups of Daikin to ensure appropriate support to all Sales channels, Daikin Applied Factory Service and Daikin Applied PartsProvide communications to support groups relative to market/industry trends in relationship to price, product needs, quality as well as training/development and compensation needsWhat's in it for you:The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business development or related discipline6-8+ years of related sales experience and leadership in support of salesDemonstrated sales success -- energized by meeting or exceeding sales goalsOutstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel extensively throughout the territoryPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, communications, or related fieldCommercial HVAC sales experienceExperience with Salesforce or any other sales tracking softwarePrior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contractsBenefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Non-logoed company vehicle with most expenses paidMultiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,100 - $215,400.The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.#LI-RemoteIf you're looking for an engaging career with growth opportunities in a supportive environment, you'll love a career at Daikin Applied
