Job Title: Technology EngineerLocation: Cucciago (CO)The Laser Technology Engineer oversees the development of laser technology, also collaborating with the technology development teams of other Group companies and other company departments involved, to ensure and contribute to mutual alignment on laser technology.ResponsabilitiesContribute to the development and evolution of laser products from a technological point of view;· Draft technical reference documentation;· Consolidate acquired know-how on laser technology;· Carry out technological tests and trials.ActivitiesDesign and execution of tests and technological trials in order to validate developments and new features, to be verified through subsequent data analysis;Validation of functional specifications for designers and SW developers;Support for the Laser Application Engineer in the development and verification of new applications;Support for laser safety monitoring activities;Support for marketing/communication activities to promote technological innovations;Support for production and technical assistance in the event of issues, including at the customer's premises, relating to your area of expertise.Note: In relation to the above, it is important to emphasise that in every job description the information provided is necessarily concise, focusing on the main objectives entrusted to the position; in the normal course of work, it is necessary to provide for integration with tasks, activities and responsibilities that have logical relevance and correlation with the description and information expressed.Must haveDegree in mechanical, mechatronic or electronic engineering;Knowledge of laser processes: cutting physics, parameters, quality;Basic knowledge of pneumatics and process sensors;Experimental method: test plans, basic DOE, data analysis and reporting.Nice to haveKnowledge of industrial robotics: programming, tools, safety;Knowledge of ISO language for cycle generation/optimisation;Knowledge of industrial PCs: application development, interfaces with PLC/CN/robots;Knowledge of welding, additive processes or laser heat treatments.What do we offer?Meal vouchers;Continuous training, both technical and cross-disciplinary;Counselling/Coaching service to promote employee growth and wellbeing;Company agreements;Company social, sporting and family events.Job function: Design & Engineering
