Senior Electrical EngineerLocation: Milan, ItalyOverview:An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading international engineering services company.This role offers the chance to contribute to high-value projects across sectors such as pharmaceuticals, data centres, and power distribution.What's on Offer:- Competitive salary with room for negotiation.- Opportunity to work on high-profile, long-term projects (5+ years).- Career development programs to enhance leadership and technical skills.- Collaborative, innovative, and performance-focused company culture.- Work with a vibrant, multi-functional team delivering cutting-edge engineering projects.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage electrical engineering design and installation activities from design through commissioning.- Review electrical designs, identify gaps, and provide recommendations on cable sizing and technical specifications.- Prepare, manage, and submit technical documentation and approvals for electrical systems.- Liaise with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.- Coordinate with BIM teams to ensure designs are constructible and maintainable.- Conduct system walk-downs and commissioning activities, including managing specialist vendors.- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates.- Support pre-construction and ongoing engineering activities, including QA, procurement, and design reviews.Essential Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.- 7+ years' experience in electrical engineering for construction projects, ideally in commercial, industrial, pharma, or data centre environments.- Expertise in both LV and MV systems.- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards (ETCI, BS****, EN, IEC, building regulations).- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, and MS Office Suite.- Proven track record of client, vendor, and contractor management.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
