OverviewbioMérieux is a family-owned company that has grown to become a world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics.For more than 60 years and across the world, we have imagined and developed innovative diagnostics solutions to improve public health.bioMérieux is present in 45 countries and employs nearly 14,000 people.In Asia Pacific, we have more than **** employees with presence in 10 countries.Come and join a French family-owned global company with a long-term vision, and a human-centered culture.Primary purpose and overall objective of the jobThe Field Service Engineer provides field technical support and services, including installation, preventive and curative maintenance, field actions at all stages of instruments life cycle management to secure and optimize lab product within IVD North Italy Market.Main accountabilitiesPerform procedures associated with installing, repairing and maintaining on an assigned instrument base, consistent follow up and customer satisfactionDetect opportunities for service contracts to private labs, hospitals or industry with commercial teamAnswer internal & external customer inquiries and ensure compliance with regulatory through timely and accurate documentation in ERP systemManage spare parts inventory according to quality guidelinesAbility to handle autonomously complex maintenanceReferent and advisor in key strategic ranges at all stage of commercial stepsSupport/act as specialists in partnership with support teams (maintenance, L2 support, ...)Ability to handle field actions in other subsidiaries/Clusters/DistributorsCoach peers/new comers on new systemStudies-ExperienceBachelor/ Master's degree in engineering (electronics, computer sciences, biotechnology), 3/5 years' experience in the same role is requiredSkills and QualificationsCustomer and solution orientedOrganized, rigorous and autonomousCustomer Service acumen, analytical & synthesis mindset, availability and agilityProfessional background as a technician, life science or industryAbility to handle CRM (reporting and dashboard)English language proficiency (B2/C1 level)LocationRole-based in Milan with availability to travel throughout North Italy.Availability to travel 90% of the time; field-based job.bioMérieux welcomes applications from all individuals, regardless of race, national origin, gender, age, physical characteristics, social origin, disability, union membership, religion, family status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or any unlawful criterion under applicable law.We are committed to treating all applicants fairly and avoiding discrimination.#J-*****-Ljbffr
