Job Description UL Solutions is looking for aSenior Project Leadto lead and manage impactful projects and transactions within our Due Diligence team, capable of handling multi-technology transactions (Solar, BESS and Onshore Wind) across the EMEA region.As a Senior Project Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the success of renewable energy initiatives by:Leading and executing complex due diligence projects including solar PV, BESS and onshore wind technologies.Preparing competitive proposals that align with client needs and industry standards.Building strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Due Diligence team, the candidate handles the management and execution of independent engineering and technical advisory services to support the financing, sale, or acquisition of renewable energy technologies including onshore wind, solar PV and BESS.Lead and execute technical due diligence for onshore wind, solar and BESS projects, covering site assessments, technology reviews, design evaluations, contract analysis, and financial modelling review among others.Produce comprehensive TDD reports, integrating inputs from multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring consistency and high-quality standards across all sections.Conduct site visits as required compiling reports to assess progress against specifications, budgets and schedules.Prepare project proposals outlining scope, team, budget and timelines, and manage internal and external resources to meet deliverables.Serve as primary client interface, attending meetings, fostering relationships and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.Support team development and strategy, mentoring staff, applying best practices, identifying risks and contributing to business growth.Qualifications8-10+ years of experience in project management across renewable energy sectors including due diligence, development, construction, operations and M&A.Proven track record with utility-scale projects, including site assessments, design reviews, contract evaluations and financial modelling.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of wind, solar PV and BESS systems, especially Balance of Plant (BOP) components, technologies and key performance indicators.Deep understanding of local markets, with strong connections to key industry stakeholders.Resilient and adaptable team player, capable of managing multiple complex projects under pressure and tight deadlines.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement and reporting at senior levels.Risk-aware and solution-oriented, able to anticipate challenges and implement effective mitigation strategies.Educational background in mechanical, civil or electrical engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, operations and maintenance, commercial, legal, finance.A Master in Renewable Energy related aspects is considered a plus.Multilingual and tech-savvy, fluent in English with additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Italian, Polish) highly valued; proficient in Microsoft Office and open to new digital tools and solutions.What we offerPermanent contract with a flexible weekly scheduleCompetitive salary based on experience + annual bonus (20%)BenefitsWorking on local and international projects alongside our UL expertsMatrix organization where you will be able to collaborate with different departments and develop new skill setsAccess to our UL University to keep on learning and growing your personal careerEmployee referral schemeWhat you'll experience working for ULSUL Solutions has been pioneering change since **** and we're still leading the way.From day one, we've blazed a trail protecting the planet and everyone on it.Our teams have influenced billions of products, plus services, software offerings and more.We break things, burn things and blow things up.All in the name of safety science.That's where you come in – because none of it could happen without you.It takes passion to protect people, problem-solving to safeguard personal data and conviction to make the world a more sustainable place.It takes bold ideas and brilliant minds to build a better world for future generations across the globe.This is more than a job.It's a calling.A passion to use our expertise and play our part in creating a safer, sustainable world today – and tomorrow.As a member of our safety science community, you'll use your ideas, your energy and your ambition to innovate, challenge and ultimately, help create a safer world.Join UL Solutions to be at the center of safety.To learn more about us and the work we do, visit#J-*****-Ljbffr
