Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Greentalent is a recruiter specialised in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market.On behalf of an Investment Management Group within renewable infastructures, we are looking for a : Senior Project ManagerThe ideal candidate has gained extensive experience in solar PV project management and construction.He / She will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of solar PV projects, from initial pre-construction activities through to commissioning and handoverThe Senior Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.Moreover, he / she coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages stakeholder relationships, and navigates complex construction permitting and regulatory environments to drive project success.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of PV plant projects, in particular engineering, procurement and pre-construction activities;Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery;Coordinate and manage all activities related to photovoltaic plant projects, overseeing project planning and ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards;Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams, external contractors, and consultants to achieve project milestones;Monitoring the pre-construction and construction authority permits;Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE / Q) standards throughout all project stages;Manage relationships with suppliers, public authorities and other stakeholders to secure construction permits and approvals;Monitor project budget and control expenses;Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns;Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and deliverables using project management tools;Support contract negotiations and ensure all project documentation is maintained and compliant;Source and select suppliers and subcontractors for project execution;Support the Procurement Dpt during the project phases;Prepare the weekly and monthly progress reports;RequirementsExtensive experience in solar PV project management and construction or renewable energy (5+ years);Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities;Proven expertise in project planning, budgeting, and risk management;In-depth knowledge of the solar industry's technical, regulatory, and safety standards;Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;Degree in engineering, renewable energy, project management, or a related field;Strong skills in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams;Excellent planning, problem-solving, and budget management abilities;Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;Willingness to travel nationally;Nice to haveExperience in BESS projects;Recognised certification, such as PMP (certified construction manager), AC (associate constructor), or CPC (certified professional constructor);LocationRome.Seniority levelMid-Senior level.Employment typeFull-time.Job functionProject Management and Engineering.IndustriesServices for Renewable Energy and Electric Power Generation.Get notified about new Project Manager jobs in Rome, Latium, Italy.#J-*****-Ljbffr
