Overview Fortil is an international engineering and technology consulting group built on an independent model, bringing together over 2,500 employees.With 30 offices across 14 countries, Fortil fosters entrepreneurial freedom and the empowerment of individual potential.We are seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer with a background in the defense or military sector to join a multidisciplinary team engaged in the development of complex systems for automotive and defense applications.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing System Safety and Functional Safety activities in compliance with international standards and applicable regulations throughout the entire product lifecycle.Location: Bolzano, Italy.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement System Safety processes according to MIL-STD-882E and IEC ***** standards;Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA);Prepare technical safety documentation, including the System Safety Program Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis, Functional Hazard Analysis, and Safety Assessment Report;Support design activities in compliance with the Machinery Directive *******/EC;Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure compliance with Functional Safety (ISO *****) and Cybersecurity (UNECE R155) standards;Manage technical interfaces with customers, certification bodies, and suppliers;Participate in the verification and validation of implemented safety measures.RequirementsMaster's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or equivalent);Minimum 2 years of experience as a System Safety Engineer or in a similar role within the defense or automotive industry;In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations:MIL-STD-882E, IEC *****, ISO *****, UNECE R155Machinery Directive *******/ECProven experience conducting safety analyses (HARA, FMECA, FTA);Good command of technical English (German knowledge is a plus);Why join us?At Fortil, we implement concrete initiatives to support your development and ensure an inspiring work environment:Personalized support to help you grow your skillsAn ecosystem that encourages you to step outside your comfort zoneThe opportunity to become a shareholderInvolvement in community and non-profit projectsA dedicated policy to support parenthoodFortil is committed to equal opportunity.All our positions are open to people with disabilities, regardless of gender, origin, or sexual orientation.#J-*****-Ljbffr
