ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is an international collective with the aim of nurturing shared well-being through unique, high-profile architectural solutions worldwide. Founded in **** by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, the studio is currently enhanced by the creativity of more than 200 professionals and the leadership of 13 partners. From urban planning to residential and mixed-use developments, from corporate campuses to public buildings and hotels, each ACPV ARCHITECTS project embodies a new vision where nature and the noblest human aspirations can find new centrality.We are looking for aMaterials Coordinator & Researcherwho is highly organized, curious, and proactive, with a strong interest in materials, technology, and sustainability. The role is central to the Studio's design process, acting as the main point of reference for materials knowledge, research, and coordination, supporting both internal design teams and external suppliers.The position is responsible for the development and management of the Materials Library (ML) and its digital database, ensuring continuous updates and accessibility, and contributing to material research and innovation within the practice.The role reports to Project Directors and designated Partners.The role will involve a range of activities including:Organize and continuously update the Materials Library with samples related to projects developed by the studioOrganize and update the Materials Library with sample collections from leading manufacturers, through meetings with suppliers both in the studio and at showroomsMaintain and update the digital database of suppliers and materialsEnsure the Materials Library is consistently accessible and kept orderly after presentations, project reviews, and meetingsProvide guidance to designers on the research, consultation, use, loan, and return of materials, samples, and sample booksSupport design teams in the selection of materials, products, and companies for projects, proposing alternatives and different solutionsAssist designers in collecting technical and qualitative data on materials, products, and companies used in projects, including for moodboards and project presentationsDevelop and implement the digital Materials Library database, documenting samples used in projects and materials that are particularly relevant to the studioConduct ongoing research into new materials, technologies, applications, and sustainable solutionsCollect content for a monthly internal newsfeed focused on new materials, technology, sustainability, and key industry events2-5 years of experienceSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work independentlyStrong multitasking skills and the ability to perform well under pressurePositive, flexible, supportive, and enthusiastic attitudeGood command of spoken and written EnglishAbility to work effectively in an informal and dynamic workplaceACPV is committed to create a better working environment supporting workforce diversity.
