Job Title:Postdoctoral Researcher (2-year position)Humanitas Research Hospital is a highly specialised research and university hospital. The institute is recognized worldwide for its contribution to the field of tumor immunology and to the understanding of the inflammation-cancer connection.Position OverviewThe Experimental Immunopathology Group at Humanitas Research Hospital, led by Prof. Cecilia Garlanda, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher for a newly funded project supported by theFRRB Under40 Grantand awarded to Dr. Francesco Scavello.The project aims to investigate the role ofIL-1R8, a negative regulator of the IL-1 system, in the cellular and molecular immune mechanisms underlying:the anti-tumor effects of chemotherapy, andimmune-mediated cardiotoxicity associated with cancer treatments.The research will combine in vivo and ex vivo approaches to better understand immune regulation in oncology and cardiovascular toxicity, with potential translational implications.The project is scheduled to start in May ****Required Qualifications:The ideal candidate is a motivated and independent researcher with a strong background in immunology and experimental research.You're the perfect candidate if you have:PhD in Immunology or related biomedical sciencesSolid hands-on experience withmurine modelsProven expertise in working withprimary immune cellsStrong experience inflow cytometryExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary research teamA letter of reference from the PhD supervisor is mandatory.All candidate data collected from the application shall be processed in accordance with applicable law: Dlgs ******** e dei Dlgs ******** e ********; privacy ex artt. 13 e 14 del Reg.
