Job Title:Staff Software Engineer – Logistics Solutions Location: The team is largely based in Germany however remote working options available About Blue Yonder: Blue Yonder is a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions,leveragingartificial intelligence and machine learning to empower businesses to predict and meet consumer demand efficiently.Our innovative cloud-based platform enhances inventory,labour, andlogisticsoperations, improving efficiency, sustainability, and profitability.Committed to innovation and customer success, Blue Yonder transforms supply chain challenges into competitive advantages.About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer to support the technical leadership and development of our logistics software portfolio, with focus areas including first/lastmile operations, transport planning, and network planning.This role requires a combination of deep engineering expertise, strong cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.WhatYou'llDo: Partner with stakeholders to analyze requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with product strategy.Assess proposed business needs for technical suitability, architectural impact, and long-term maintainability.Translate functional requirements into technical designs, architectural concepts, and implementation plans.Actively contribute to the codebase, including designing, implementing, reviewing, and optimizing software components.Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring consistent execution, adherence to standards, and high-quality delivery.Communicate complex technical topics in a clear and structured manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.Support cross-team alignment and contribute to the definition and evolution of architectural patterns and best practices.Mentor engineers and support talent development within the organization.WhatWe'reLooking For: Extensive experience in software engineering.Proven ability to work directly with stakeholders to interpret needs, challenge assumptions, and define actionable technical direction.Broad technical skill set, with the ability to operate across multiple layers of the technology stack.Backend: Java (preferably Quarkus), REST, JWT Frontend: Working knowledgeof React Cloud
