We are looking for a junior trainee for the Ocean Export department. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements: Good command of the English language, both written and spoken, to be verified during the interviewExcellent knowledge of MS Office suiteIdeally previous experience in a freighforwarding companyThe candidate will be trained for managing shipping procedures independently—from booking to invoicing—while reserving space with various maritime carriers and organizing shipments according to client or KWE network specifications.Target Activities:Liaising with clients to obtain all necessary documentation for shipmentsCoordinating with shipping lines and NVOCCs for cargo bookingsCommunicating loading plans and cargo handling instructions to warehouse staff according to specific regulationsPreparing shipping documents such as B/L, HBL, pickup and delivery noticesManaging documentation related to customs formalities and transmitting necessary information to customs clearance departmentsMonitoring shipments, providing updates on vessel departures, and reporting any anomalies to clients and foreign officesVerifying billing details and applying correct tariffsHandling invoicing, including entering estimated and actual costs for each shipmentReviewing and processing supplier invoices and updating records accordinglyPrinting invoices and attaching relevant documentation
