We're looking for engineers who love full ownership, complex technical challenges, and seeing their work directly impact product and company growth. Whether your expertise is Python, Go, Node.js, or full-stack with React/TypeScript, if you've helped startups scale, you'll feel at home here. What You'll Do Build and scale backend services using Python, Go, or Node.js Contribute to full-stack features with TypeScript React where applicable Design APIs, real-time pipelines, and distributed systems for production workloads Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Influence architecture, tooling, and best practices in a fast-growing startup environment Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Cursor to speed up workflow What We're Looking For 4 years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer Strong in Python, Go, or Node.js Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript) is a plus Experience in VC-backed startups or scale-ups Comfortable with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) Strong fundamentals: distributed systems, APIs, databases Collaborative, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment Bonus Points Experience in fintech, payments, or AI-assisted tooling Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) Experience contributing to developer tooling or internal frameworks Interest in using Cursor or other AI coding tools Prior scale-up experience with high-growth products Why This Role Will Pivot Your Career High impact: Build production systems used by real customers in high-growth startups Ownership & autonomy: Take responsibility for features end-to-end VC-backed scale-up experience: Gain exposure to rapid growth, high stakes, and technical excellence Cutting-edge stack: Work across Python, Go, Node.js, TypeScript/React, and AI-assisted tools Career leverage: Opportunity to grow into lead, staff, or architect-level roles with visibility to senior leadership Pragmatike is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants without discrimination.
