AMER Logistics Specialist, Global Transportation and LogisticsJob ID: ******* | Amazon.com Services LLC - A57Amazon OTS Supply Chain Global Transportation and Logistics is searching for an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee carrier performance management throughout the Americas region.The successful candidate will work closely with transportation providers to manage performance metrics and introduce innovative service offerings that drive business value.This role requires extensive collaboration with global and local business teams to create and implement effective supply chain solutions for both current operations and new programs.Using data-driven analysis, the position will focus on maintaining and enforcing rigorous performance standards for OTS carriers, while also managing Amazon's internal IT inventory transportation requirements.The ideal candidate will develop and implement solutions to enhance OpsTech Solutions/' operational efficiency and scalability, providing vital support to regional operations partners across the network.This dynamic role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon/'s logistics operations while working with diverse stakeholders throughout the organization.Key responsibilities- Conduct deep dive analysis of performance combining internal and external data sources- Systematically resolve problems with data integrity and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered- Work with senior leadership in conducting carrier MBRs and QBRs- Report key business health metrics and observations in business reviews- Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions- Prioritize, optimize and deliver timely updates for all key metrics- Graphically visualize data to allow easy access to large sets of information for a broad range of people- Develop automation solutions for reports, tools and processes- Deliver operational improvements using a data-driven approach to root cause analysis and solution design- Maintain continual tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (OTS, Finance, Regional Logistics, OTS Rapid Asset Deployment Centers)- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performedA day in the life / BenefitsAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.Benefits can vary by location, the number of regularly scheduled hours you work, length of employment, and job status such as seasonal or temporary employment.The benefits generally applicable to regular, full-time employees include medical, dental, and vision coverage;
