Head of Datahlpy, born in ****, is a tech-driven roadside assistance insurance start-up founded by visionaries who saw a gap in the market and redefined the industry with a cutting-edge digital solutionWhat started as a bold idea in Italy quickly expanded to France and Spain, and as of September ****, we are proud to announce our entry into GermanyThis marks another milestone in our journey to becoming the go-to solution for modern roadside assistance across Europe— and beyond.We are looking for an experiencedHead of Datato lead our data strategy, team, and infrastructure across the organization.This role will be responsible for defining and executing a data vision that enables data-driven decision-making, ensures high data quality, and supports product innovation.The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong technical leadership and a hands-on understanding of data engineering, analytics, and governance.Responsibilities Define and execute thecompany's data strategy , ensuring alignment with business goals.Build and lead a high-performingData team , including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists.Oversee the design and maintenance ofscalable data architectures , pipelines, and storage solutions.Ensure datagovernance, quality, and complianceacross all systems and departments and Develop and implementdata policies , standards, and best practices.Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to makedata a central assetfor decision-making and innovation.Oversee data tools and technology selection, ensuring scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance.Monitor keydata performance indicators (KPIs)and deliver actionable insights to leadership.Collaborate with executives to identify new opportunities through advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives.Nice to Have Experience inB2B SaaS ,digital product , ordata-intensiveenvironments.Exposure toAI/ML initiativesordata monetization strategies .Familiarity withreal-time data streaming(Kafka, Kinesis).Contributions to open-source or data communities.Technical & Professional Requirements Strong background indata engineering, analytics, or data science , with experience in leadership roles.Proficiency withmodern data stacks : cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure),data warehouses(BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), anddata lakes .Experience withETL/ELT tools(Airflow, dbt, Spark, etc.) andmodern BI tools(Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Solid understanding ofdata modeling, architecture, and governance principles .Familiarity withmachine learning pipelines , model monitoring, and MLOps practices.Strong technical knowledge ofSQL ,Python , and relevant data frameworks.Understanding ofprivacy regulations(GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).8+ years of experiencein data-related roles, including3+ years in a leadership or management position .Proven track record of scaling data platforms and teams in fast-paced environments.Your Journey in hlpy Our team comprises a wide range of skills and experiences: we constantly encourage all our professionals and collaborators to explorenew opportunities for growth and development .We believe that promoting an environment whereindividuals can experiment and expand their horizonsnot only increases personal satisfaction but also strengthens our collective success.Please send you CV in English
