START-UP | ELECTROLYTES/CHEMISTRY EXPERT | MATERIAL SCIENTISTWe are looking for an Electrolytes/Chemistry Expert to be hired on a permanent contract with one of our clients, an innovative Start-Up in the chemical-engineering sector.The client specializes in renewable energy and the research, development and prototyping of new green batteries and long-duration energy storage systems.The RoleLead and supervise with a "hands-on" approach the development and optimization of electrolyte formulations, designing advanced solutions using analytical characterization techniques, stability testing and chemical-physical analysis.Conduct technology scouting activities to identify crossover and imbalance mitigation strategies existing in other electrochemical sectors, evaluate their applicability to the client's systems and minimize performance gaps.Analyze the landscape of materials compatible with the client's project, identify opportunities for new formulations and interface with suppliers of membranes, electrodes and contact components when necessary.Interface with industrial partners and suppliers to transform "laboratory" formulations into truly scalable production processes, defining QC procedures and acceptance criteria.Supervise junior chemists and laboratory technicians, ensuring methodological consistency and alignment between experimental results, defined operating windows and scale-up requirements for manufacturing.Job RequirementsMaster's degree or PhD in chemistry/chemical engineering, materials science or equivalent qualification.Previous experience of at least 5 years in the development of electrolyte formulations and/or research projects in the electrochemical field, preferably with a focus on chemical analysis, analytical characterization and materials compatibility.A proven ability to conduct structured laboratory experiments with high reproducibility, including skills in analytical techniques (titration, spectroscopy, conductivity/viscosity) and rigorous technical documentation.Excellent level of English (B2 minimum).Knowledge of Italian language level C1 or C1 is ideal but not mandatory.LocationRho (MI)Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOther#J-*****-Ljbffr
