IP Legal Counsel - Licenses and Collaborations Date: Oct 8, ****Location: Milano, ITIf you've worn a pair of glasses, we've already met.We are a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses.We offer our industry stakeholders in over 150 countries access to a global platform of high-quality vision care products (such as the Essilor brand, with Varilux, Crizal, Eyezen, Stellest and Transitions), iconic brands that consumers love (such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Vogue Eyewear and Costa), as well as a network that offers consumers high-quality vision care and best-in-class shopping experiences (such as Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, Salmoiraghi & Viganò and the GrandVision network), and leading e-commerce platforms.Join our global community of over 190,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry.Your #FutureInSight with EssilorLuxotticaAre you willing to pioneer new frontiers, foster inclusivity and collaboration, embrace agility, ignite passion, and make a positive impact on the world?Join us in redefining the boundaries of what's possible.Your roleThis position will support Licensing and Colabs business for contracts and legal advice globally, focusing in particular on drafting/reviewing and negotiating licensing, co-branding and product partnership contracts.The candidate will mainly(i) partner with business development team in the negotiation of new collaborations and(ii) assist marketing team in the day-by-day activities, including contract management,providing support to business divisions in the interpretation, performance and enforcement of existing contracts.Competence in intellectual property law and expertise in IP contracts and practices in the fashion industry is a mandatory requirement.Expertise on products law and basic knowledge on distribution and competition matters are important requirements.Main ResponsibilitiesCo-branding and Product Collaborations contracts – Drafting/review and negotiation of brand license, co-branding and product partnership contractsTrademark License contracts – support day-by-day performance of contracts, legal advice on matters relating to existing licensesContract management – managing repository of documents, conducting comparative analysis of contract clauses to create templates and identify best practicesMain RequirementsEducational Background: Law Degree (within set time period), bar admission is a plus but not mandatory8/10 years in-house experience at an international company and/or with a well known international law firmLicensing: experience in drafting licensing and co-branding contractsIntellectual Property: knowledge of intellectual property law and IP contracts practices in the fashion industryProduct laws: knowledge of products law is a plus.Personal skills: good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management; ability to work in a team; accuracy, humility, passion, proactivity, flexibility.Strong organization skills and coordination capabilities, attention to detailsOur Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitmentWe are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.We celebrate diversity and provide equal opportunities to all, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic that makes us unique.#J-*****-Ljbffr
