Description The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Program Manager to join our team in Milan, Italy.At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth and need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.The position is responsible for the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work in all related disciplines, at all levels – from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system.You will have previous knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.The Security Program Manager (SPM) is a key member of the EMEA Security team and reports to the Multi-Cluster Security Program Manager.This position will be responsible for the management of data center physical security systems and projects.A successful candidate will interpret Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to assure the proper security mitigations are selected to meet the unique challenges in each area.As part of each data center build, you will collaborate with AWS architectural and engineering teams to ensure each data center meets the high standards AWS sets for physical security.After implementation, this position will assure local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet the physical security mission.ResponsibilitiesProject Management for physical security system projects related to new construction as well as retrofit projects.Preparation of physical security bid packages, including specifications and drawings.Physical Security Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME).Partner with the local physical security operations team to assure all systems are functioning to their optimum level.Vet all potential vendors for the proper skills and scale to meet our challenging project schedules.Research emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.Provide technical and project management support for local physical security teams.Basic Qualifications5–7 years of experience in technology sectors.Knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry.High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy.English language required; Italian or other European languages a plus.Ability to travel 20% of the time.Ability to work at times in an industrial environment.Excellent teamwork skills, results oriented, high energy and self-motivated.Preferred QualificationsIndustry experience in security system installation and commissioning and project management.Certification in either S2 or Lenel Access Control Systems.CPP, PSP or CISSP Certification.3 to 5 years of experience in managing security projects.Amazon is an equal-opportunity employer.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit the Amazon website for more information.#J-*****-Ljbffr
