Join to apply for the Senior MES Implementation Engineer role at GE Vernova2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGE Vernova and TPG, a leading global alternative asset management firm, recently announced the signing of an agreement confirming TPG's intent to acquire GE Vernova's Proficy® manufacturing software business.The proposed transaction is subject to information and consultation with employee representatives and other customary closing conditions, including certain regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the first half of ****.Roles And ResponsibilitiesContribute to the implementation of MES solutions utilizing the Software Suite and Agile Methodologies.Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, participating in decisions on architecture, design, and functionality to keep programs on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.Work closely with the client to understand their needs and develop strategies tailored to their organization through site assessments.Also make standard recommendations on workflow, application, interface, reports, testing and uploads to customers through the implementation process.Is responsible for go-live readiness and support as well as post-live checkups and will be required to work collaboratively with internal team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.Develop specialized knowledge in their discipline.Serve as best practice/quality resource.Have awareness of latest technical developments in own area.Contribute towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Have in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; have working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.Take new perspective on existing solutions.Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.Explain difficult or sensitive information; work to build consensus.Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.Required QualificationsAdvanced experience in the Services & Digital Implementation Services.Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).Proficient in English.Availability to travel up to *****%.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No.This is a remote position.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Electric Power Generation#J-*****-Ljbffr
