Overview
As Senior Manager Data, lead two data teams to deliver aligned, high-quality data initiatives that support product strategy and business goals. You will bridge execution and strategy, mentor team leads, and own cross-team decisions. This role sits at the core of Deel's data-driven transformation, shaping how data empowers global teams. You'll work with product and business stakeholders to drive meaningful impact and scale data operations across the organization.

Responsabilità
- Oversee two data teams to ensure consistent processes and goals
- Mentor team leads and senior members to foster leadership and knowledge sharing
- Act as primary decision-maker for multi-team projects aligned with product strategy
- Manage cross-team dependencies and negotiate resources with stakeholders
- Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery across teams with iterative workflows
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to domain leadership and teams
- Encourage cross-team collaboration and identify synergies and improvements
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to align data output with broader business goals
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple teams
- Excellent communication abilities across teams and leadership
- Experience with strategic planning and complex project management
- Skilled in conflict resolution and stakeholder negotiation
- Broad understanding of business and product strategy with data domain expertise
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing teams (including multiple teams or larger groups)
