Overview
In this role you will oversee the finance function for Specialtrasfo, partnering with the local management to optimize financial performance. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and decision support to inform strategic choices. You will strengthen financial controls, drive cost efficiency, and lead finance digitalization initiatives. This position sits within ABB's Motion High Power Solutions and offers hands-on impact on a global scale while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilità
- Lead financial planning for the company, including annual budgets and rolling forecasts, oversee execution, and perform variance analysis with cross-department collaboration
- Provide professional financial, capital, risk, and tax analysis to support corporate decision-making
- Supervise accounting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies; coordinate annual audit
- Develop and optimize internal control, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Promote digital transformation of finance and establish a multi-dimensional data platform
- Participate in integration planning and management system implementation
- Drive cost control, process optimization, and margin improvement across the business
- Define and implement global standards and guidelines for financial control
- Lead best practices in controlling and ensure consistency across the area of responsibility
- Communicate with internal customers to identify issues and opportunities for operational improvements
- Ensure transparent and timely financial reporting and disclosures
Requisiti fondamentali
- 8+ years in finance or controlling with experience in business & project controlling, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in Local and US GAAP; familiarity with tax and regulatory requirements; knowledge of risk, contract management, and indirect taxes
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with ability to influence teams
- Solid SAP and SAP BW expertise; advanced MS Excel skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
