Within the Aircraft B.U., the Team Leader for aircraft assembly and fitting lines at the Venegono Plant ensures, for the area of competence, the achievement of punctuality, quality, cost and safety objectives, through the management and coordination of operators and production activities in the assigned shift, contributing to continuous improvement in coordination with the Department Manager.
The resource will be involved in the following activities:
- Responsible, in the shift of competence, for achieving production objectives on the assigned assembly stations in terms of efficiency, quality and adherence to planning
- Manages and supervises the detailed work plan for the shift, ensuring its consistency with the department's planning
- Coordinates and manages the operators on shift, defining work teams, assigning activities and objectives, and ensuring correct recording of presence, progress and losses
- Monitors shift performance and promotes operational improvement actions
- Interacts with support functions to resolve production issues
- Verifies the availability and efficiency of production means and ensures compliance with quality standards
- Holds the role of Safety Supervisor, ensuring the application of company procedures and compliance with health and safety regulations at work.
Education:
Technical diploma (preferably in electrical/electronic, mechanical, aeronautical, or industrial fields).
Required Experience Level:
Senior (consolidated experience in structured production environments and in operator management)
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Safety and Environment procedures, with particular attention to FOD prevention and operational application in an aeronautical context
- Knowledge of Quality requirements and First Article Inspection (F.A.I.) activities
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (drawings, diagrams, work cycles, process/product specifications) and knowledge of work methods
- Knowledge of materials, tooling, measuring instruments and production means used in the aeronautical field
- Application of Lean Production System principles and contribution to continuous improvement of operational performance
- Ability to manage the work program, including defining daily plans, balancing labor loads, and recording end-of-shift data
- Ability to analyze technical losses and support the identification of corrective actions
- Knowledge of production costs (hourly cost and product cost) and use of factory information systems (SAP Logistics and office tools)
