Position Overview
Naples Bay Resort & Marina is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for the resort, marina, spa, food & beverage outlets, and associated revenue-generating departments. Reporting directly to the General Manager and partnering closely with regional and corporate leadership, the Director of Finance will provide financial stewardship, operational support, and strategic guidance to maximize profitability, ensure compliance, and protect resort assets.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality finance professional with a strong background in luxury resorts, mixed-use hospitality operations, and complex revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy
Serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Develop and execute annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and long-range financial plans.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiencies.
Prepare monthly forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports.
Present financial results and business insights to ownership, asset management, and corporate leadership.
Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income audit, cash management, and financial reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company accounting standards.&l
