We're supporting a major, well-funded solar developer with an established and fast-growing European platform.As part of their continued expansion in Italy, they're looking to appoint a Senior Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects, from origination through to financial close.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of utility-scale solar PV projects in ItalyManage projects from origination through permitting, grid connection and financial closeOversee land acquisition, environmental assessments and technical studiesManage permitting processes and engagement with local authorities and grid operatorsIdentify and mitigate environmental, technical and regulatory constraintsCoordinate internal teams and external advisors across development milestonesSupport handover of projects into construction and delivery teamsRequirements5+ years' experience developing utility-scale solar PV projects in ItalyProven experience across land acquisition, permitting, grid connection and environmental constraintsStrong understanding of technical constraints and development riskTechnical background, with an engineering degree or similarExperience with BESS projects is a strong advantageBased in Rome or willing to relocateFluent Italian and EnglishWhy applyJoin a leading solar developer with strong financial backingImpressive project pipeline and long-term growth across EuropeSenior level ownership and progression opportunityFor more information, apply directly or contact us for a confidential discussion.
