Resina Partners is supporting a leading Italian manufacturer of flexible polyethylene packaging in the search for an Export Manager to develop key European markets .The companyA long-established Italian group and market leader in flexible polyethylene packaging, with over 40 years of history, 2 production sites, and more than 350 employees.The company is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, technological innovation, and people development .The roleYou will be responsible for developing sales across selected European markets — including Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, and potentially Eastern Europe.The exact markets will be defined based on your background, network, and language skills.The role is strongly focused on new business development , with roughly two weeks of travel per month, and close collaboration with the internal sales team in Italy.Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you'll take the lead in building new relationships , identifying growth opportunities , and driving the company's international expansion .Key responsibilitiesDevelop business in assigned export markets, focusing on flexible packaging clientsIdentify, visit, and secure new customers and distributorsManage relationships with existing international accountsMonitor market trends and competitorsCollaborate with customer service and technical teams to ensure smooth project deliveryRequirements Proven sales experience in flexible or plastic packaging Fluency in Italian , English , French and/or German ; any additional language will be considered a plus Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to develop markets almost from scratch Open to regular travel (approx. 50%)Why apply Join the Italian leader in flexible polyethylene packaging with a strong reputation for innovation and quality Play a key role in expanding its European footprint Work in a modern, structured, and people-oriented environment that values initiative and collaborationResina Partners is a boutique recruitment firm specialized in the plastics industry.
