Overview
In this role you will support the Global Commodity Manager and coordinate with unit buyers to define strategy for procuring Material & Permanent Systems. You will own the end-to-end sourcing process, from supplier list creation to RFx, negotiations, and contract terms, ensuring quality, cost, and lead-time optimization. You will help align procurement plans with company policies and compliance standards while fostering supplier relations. Responsabilità
- Define and implement procurement strategy for Material & Permanent Systems in coordination with Global Commodity Manager
- Own the sourcing process: supplier list, RFQ/RFP, and supplier negotiations to achieve cost, synergy, quality, and lead-time targets
- Ensure compliance with Global Supply Chain and Company Policies
- Evaluate offers for technical and commercial suitability; coordinate with Corporate Departments/Operational Units for technical checks
- Draft terms and conditions of agreements/purchase orders with Legal and Contract Departments
- Support supplier relations and compliance with Ethics Code and Anti-Corruption Model
- Assist Regional Supply Chain Managers to create procurement plans for operational units
- Support bidding and startup teams during bidding phase
- Provide analysis and corrective actions to mitigate procurement issues in collaboration with Global Commodity Manager
- Contribute to defining and implementing Commodity strategies
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years in a similar role within multinational contexts
- Specialist Degree in Engineering/Economy/Business Management
- Market analysis and benchmarking skills
- Supplier base selection, development and management
- Cost driver value analyses
- Excellent mastery of MS Office, SAP MM
- Willingness to travel to worksites and joint ventures
- Fluent in English
- Numerical and critical data analysis skills
- Results-oriented, teamwork-oriented, excellent communication and relational skills
