The role
You will run the hotel as your own business. You will be responsible for the P&L, the guest experience and the team, and you will report to the Head of Operations.
What you'll do
- Take full responsibility for the hotel's operations and financial results (P&L, budget, forecast)
- Work with the Revenue team to drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and ancillary revenue
- Lead, hire and develop the team across all departments, and build a strong service culture
- Keep the hotel's service standards high and improve them; monitor guest reviews and satisfaction
- Oversee maintenance, suppliers and contractors, and keep costs under control
- Make sure the hotel complies with health and safety, legal and brand standards
- Build relationships with local partners, corporate clients and the community
- Report regularly to senior management, with clear KPIs and action plans
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in hotel management, with at least 2 years as GM, Hotel Manager or Deputy GM
- Proven experience managing a P&L and hitting financial targets
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial mindset; experience with xivgfpx revenue management and digital distribution
- Experience with boutique, lifestyle or aparthotel concepts is a plus
- Fluent English and [local language]; other languages are a plus
