Overview
In this role you bridge software development and IT operations to enable seamless delivery of Deel's applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes, automate tasks, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. Your work reduces downtime and accelerates feature releases, directly impacting our ability to serve global customers. This is an opportunity to shape the infrastructure powering Deel's mission of a more inclusive global economy.

Responsabilità
- Work with the latest AWS technologies like Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, DocumentDB, and more
- Manage our AWS production deployments (SaaS) running on AWS EKS
- Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC on our cloud-based production systems
- Enhance production stability, availability, and reliability
- Install, configure, update and troubleshoot product microservices and databases
- Design and manage monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting production issues
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in production environments
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Drone, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar)
- Strong IT background
- Deep understanding of networking (K8S ingress, services, load balancers)
- AWS services including EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS
- Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure
- Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools
- Additional programming languages like NodeJS is an advantage
- Results-driven with strong commitment to completing tasks
