We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support Quality Control activities for Oil & Gas, petrochemical, and industrial projects. The role includes checking manufacturing activities, inspecting mechanical components, verifying compliance with project specifications and international standards, and helping ensure quality throughout production.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect piping components and mechanical equipment during manufacturing and testing.
- Check compliance with project specifications, technical documents, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and applicable international standards.
- Monitor manufacturing activities such as forging, casting, machining, assembly, coating, and testing.
- Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs), quality records, and manufacturing documents.
- Review dimensional checks, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and witness pressure tests.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and report non-conformities when needed.
- Work with clients, suppliers, and project teams to meet contractual and technical requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports and keep accurate quality records.
Mandatory Requirements
- 8-10 year of experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of international standards and codes, including:
- API
- ASTM
- ASME
- NACE
- ISO
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including:
- Forging
- Casting
- Machining
- Assembly
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy and metallic materials.
Ability to read and understand:
- Mechanical drawings
- Technical specifications
- Manufacturing documentation
- Project requirements
Experience with piping systems and components, including:
- Pipes
- Fittings
- Flanges
- Strainers
Good knowledge of industrial valves and related standards, including:
- Gate Valves
- Globe Valves
- Check Valves
- Ball Valves
- Butterfly Valves
Preferred Qualifications
- Good knowledge of welding processes and inspection requirements.
- Familiarity with welding procedures, WPS/PQR, and NDT activities.
- Good knowledge of coating and painting systems, including inspection requirements and industry standards.
- Experience with vendor inspections and supplier surveillance.
- Relevant inspection certifications are an advantage.

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 50,000.
