Overview

In this role you will manage UK and expatriate payroll end-to-end, ensuring accurate, timely processing and strict compliance with HMRC and company policies. You will work with Global Mobility, HR and Finance to deliver shadow payrolls, year-end tasks, and expatriate inputs for inbound and outbound assignments. You will act as a payroll SME, guiding employees on payslips, deductions, and benefits while supporting system enhancements and audits. This is a chance to support a growing international business and shape compliant payroll delivery across the UK and a global expatriate population.

Responsabilità

  • Deliver accurate UK monthly payroll including statutory payments, PAYE, National Insurance, student loans and auto-enrolment pensions per HMRC rules
  • Manage payroll lifecycle: new starters, leavers, changes, adjustments, year-end processes (P60, P11D)
  • Administer UK and expatriate payrolls (inbound/outbound shadow payrolls)
  • Collaborate with Global Mobility, HR, Finance and payroll provider to ensure compliant delivery
  • Process expatriate inputs: allowances, benefits, retention bonuses, leave, pensions, deductions, final settlements
  • Ensure correct processing of allowances, benefits-in-kind, pensions, salary sacrifice and taxable/non-taxable payments
  • Review and validate calculations, reconciliations, reports and outputs for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain UK tax, social security, payroll legislation, auto-enrolment and GDPR compliance
  • Prepare payroll reports and support audits with controls and query resolution
  • Act as payroll expert, advising on payslips, deductions, benefits and queries
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, maintain payroll/HR records, assist with system enhancements and implementations
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance and international stakeholders to support multi-country payroll operations

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Proven UK payroll administration experience
  • Experience managing expatriate, international, or shadow payrolls
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and year-end reporting
  • Experience with outsourced payroll providers
  • Strong validation, reconciliation, and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS/payroll systems experience
