Our global presence includes offices in more than 40 cities, with 13,000 employees worldwide.Role Overview:The Senior Platform Security Engineer will support the security strategy by defining and implementing controls across platforms, infrastructure, and workflows. The role involves safeguarding systems, clients, and intellectual property, working closely with product, infrastructure, and security teams. The ideal candidate is technically strong, communicative, and experienced in security operations and architecture.Your duties and responsibilities:Support design and execution of the information security risk management framework.Ensure compliance with NIS2, DORA, ISO27 K, and other relevant regulations.Maintain and improve security policies, standards, and controls.Assist with audits, client due diligence, and exception management.Support product and engineering teams in adopting Dev Sec Ops and secure design principles.Act as escalation point during major incidents or zero-day threats.Lead detection and response capabilities, serve as incident responder.Collaborate with teams to contain, investigate, and remediate security incidents.Conduct root cause analysis and forensic investigations.Enhance system visibility through logging and monitoring.Maintain incident response protocols and runbooks.Lead vulnerability management processes from identification to remediation.Support security architecture reviews to ensure best practices.This role may require overnight, weekend, and on-call activities.Your skills, experience, and qualifications:Fluency in Italian and English, with regular interaction with stakeholders and clients in Italy.Degree or certifications in a technology-related field; desirable certifications include Security+, OSCP, CCSP, CEH, GCIH, GMON.At least 7 years of experience in Information Security, with a focus on operations and compliance.Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Power Shell, Bash).Knowledge of NIS2, DORA, ISO27 K, and related regulations.Understanding of endpoint security, network security, cryptography, forensic techniques.Experience with security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, DLP, firewalls, IAM, vulnerability management, etc.Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
