Overview

In this role you will support Generali's Switzerland & France unit within Global Investment Management to strengthen ALM and investment risk oversight. You will develop models and tools, drive the SAA process, and provide risk assessments shaping portfolio strategy. You will collaborate with CIO, CRO, actuarial and insurance teams to ensure consistent methodologies, prepare reports for senior management, and conduct stress testing and capital analyses. This is a hands-on, international role with meaningful impact on capital management and risk controls.

Responsabilità

  • Perform ALM analysis and monitoring at Group level and define tools for Local level activities; supervise LCIO functions.
  • Develop and enhance ALM models, tools, processes, and methodologies for ALM and Investment Risk analysis and monitoring.
  • Support the Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) process with key drivers, targets and constraints at portfolio level.
  • Perform risk-return assessments at portfolio level.
  • Contribute to first-level risk controls at local level and support investment risk oversight processes.
  • Collaborate with CIO, CRO, Actuarial and Insurance teams to ensure consistent ALM methodologies and investment risk frameworks.
  • Prepare and deliver ALM & Investment risk reports for internal committees and senior management.
  • Execute stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Assess capital and solvency impacts of investment strategies and business initiatives.
  • Identify emerging risks and define mitigation actions.

Requisiti fondamentali

  • Master's degree in finance, actuarial science, statistics, economics or a similar quantitative field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial risk management, capital/liquidity management, ALM, or actuarial roles, preferably in insurance or consulting.
  • Strong background in life valuation metrics and actuarial models; financial modeling and capital markets instruments.
  • Regulatory framework knowledge: Solvency II and IFRS9/17.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, Prophet, Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Swiss and/or French insurance market specifics is a plus; fluent in English; knowledge of France and/or German is a plus.
