Eligibility for NATO SecretOltre-Cyber Space Defence is looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to support secure, mission-critical infrastructures within the defence domain in La Spezia. ResponsibilitiesDaily administration of RHEL servers and Ubuntu workstations.Installation, configuration, and maintenance of core services (Bind, Apache, My SQL, LDAP, DNS, DHCP).Integration of Linux environments with Windows/Active Directory (Centrify).Automation through scripting (Bash, Shell).Virtualization management (VMware).Backups, updates, performance optimisation, monitoring, and documentation.2nd line system administration support and cooperation with the Service Desk.Reporting on system availability and supporting corrective actions. RequirementsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience.At least 3 years of hands-on experience with RHEL and Ubuntu.Strong experience in virtualization, scripting, Linux core services, and network troubleshooting.Experience with LDAP, SELinux, anti-malware solutions and repository management.Proven experience integrating Linux and Windows environments through Centrify.Excellent command of English (NATO STANAG 6001 – SLP 3333).Eligibility for NATO Secret security clearance (active clearance is an asset). Nice to HaveExperience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Linux/VMware/Security+ certifications.Experience in international or military environments.Git and advanced automation skills.
